Miffy History
Miffy is a charming and iconic character created by Dick Bruna in 1955, inspired by stories told to his son. Initially depicted as a fluffy toy, Miffy’s design evolved to become the beloved figure known today, with a soft, round appearance. Internationally, Miffy is known by the same name to ease pronunciation, differing from her Dutch name, “nijntje,” which means “little bunny”
